A mug is an object that in most cases serves for the consumption of hot beverages. The primary idea was how to improve the conventional geometry of the mug, which consists of a cylinder and a handle, while maintaining comfort, safety in the hand and protection from hot drinks.
The reason for approaching this problem came from the notion of limitation. The mugs we are accustomed to seeing and which we use every day limit us and condition that if we consume a hot fluid from them we must hold them for handle. The handle as an element is very sensitive, does not provide great safety when holding and ergonomically does not suit us completely.
The b mug is inspired by the shape of the node of the bamboo tree. It is a slight transition, a pulse, which separates from the line of the cylinder.
The detail is stylized and adapted to the ergonomics of the human hand. In this case, the handle is an annular tray that surrounds the whole mug and in this way we can catch it from any side, regardless of whether there is a cold or hot drink in it. The wall thickness of the ring is twice the wall thickness of the cup itself, which prevents heat penetration. Increasing ergonomics also increases the level of safety of holding the mug.
The mugs are arranged vertically, which satisfies the need for storage and space saving. The materials from which the mugs is made are glass and ceramics.
